Bess Bistro in Austin, Texas

My friend Emily and I went to partake in the delicacies offered at Sandra Bullock's Bistro located up Sixth street from her other eatery, Walton's Fancy and Staple. It was quite a bit more fancy than Walton's. You walk down in to the elegant surroundings to be seated in luxurious accommodations. We both had the daily special of gumbo and a sandwich. It was fantastic. I took half of mine home. The portions are big.

I had

shaved organic smoked turkey and aged Gouda with toasted mustard on multi-gran toast with seasonal fruit.

Emily had

a crispy pressed sandwich of flame roasted red bell peppers, fresh mozzarella and basil pesto on ciabatta bread with pommes frites.
We both enjoyed the lunch experience, but we like Walton's better for lunch. This would be an excellent place to go on a date with a sweetheart. It's quiet, aristocratic atmosphere lends itself to l'amour. Buon Appetito!

 Amazing Bread.
 The Turkey Gouda Melt.
The Panini

I saw this house around the corner as I was driving home. I thought you would all appreciate it's beauty.
