Green Sauce for My Man

I try to be reading and doing a marriage devotional of some sort every day of the year. Right now, I am working through one that is a secret from my husband. He reads this blog or I'd tell you all about it. Follow me on Twitter for the dish on it. He refuses to tweet.

Each day it gives me a little daily challenge. Today is to do something unexpected for my man. I figured, "food!" He absolutely loves Casa Olé Green Sauce. Since I will not frequent this establishment, I decided to copycat the recipe. All the ones I read called for canned this and canned that. If you know me, you know I did not follow this. I don't think anyone should ever eat Rotel or do without fresh, hand chopped garlic. Here's what I came up with:

4 Avocados
1 16 oz. Sour Cream
1 cup Roma Tomatoes
2 Green Chile Peppers
2 tsp Kosher Salt
Juice of 1 Lime
3 oz. Cream Cheese
2 cloves finely chopped Garlic
1 Jalapeño

Put it all in the food processor and pulse until creamy. Warm on stove top and serve.
